Mercedes S-Class W221 S400h – the legendary limousine in its hybrid version.
The Mercedes, built from 2005 to 2013, surprised the market with very rich and modern equipment when it was launched. Many of its features are still very interesting and intuitive today. The hybrid model was introduced in 2009. In this car, the hybrid mainly takes over the start/stop function and adds a bit of extra power to the system, but on its own it is not capable of driving this huge car. It is rather an extended start/stop system, with the high-voltage battery powering, among other things, the air conditioning while parked.
