Volvo V60 2.4 D6 Plug-in Hybrid – typical faults, component damage, repair.
A full hybrid with the ability to recharge from a socket, powered by a diesel engine in VOLVO's implementation. The model was produced from 2012 to 2018. The distinctive silhouette of this estate car can still be very appealing. The Swedish brand enjoys a well-deserved reputation and is valued for build quality and ergonomics. The car, even in its hybrid version, is relatively reliable. The 5-cylinder diesel shows very good durability with regular servicing. The hybrid system, although it was one of Volvo's first implementations on a mass scale, also causes no major problems. Even the batteries, despite more than a decade in service, often still show very good ranges. In pure electric mode, the car can travel about 40 km. Aging and wear, however, are unavoidable. We've dealt with this car several times and try to be prepared for typical faults by keeping spare parts in stock;
